Huzzah! It is that time of the month, and we are very proud and excited to announce the release of our Second Issue, .....Yr Last Left.....
In our final (& second) issue of 2017, we feature some of our favorite artists from "Breaking Ground", as well as work from four individuals new to SD, Bil Badrick (who created a concept piece depicting what the Columbia River Bridge could have & should have looked like (featured on the cover)) , River Flora (who "[fosters] community by finding ways to communicate [theirself] to others"), Scot Guinness (an artist successfully portraying an organic chaos), and Jessica Mehta (an accomplished Cherokee poet who truly shares herself with her readers through her confessional pieces).
For only a **$1 donation**, you can purchase an e copy of our second issue. Or, for only **$5**, we will mail you a physical copy. If you want to donate **more than $5** (wow!!!) we'll come up with other sweet ways to thank you. And, if you were featured in this month's issue, we will be contacting you soon so that we can get you a physical copy within the next week or so.
These donations are crucial to Structural Damage because it costs $12 each month to keep the site up & running, (plus we need to pay for printing & shipping to send out free copies to artists that we feature). The more donations that we receive, the more we will be able to do for our contributors and readers, such as publishing anthologies, novellas, or other collections. Ideally, we will eventually get enough regular donations to pay for accepted submissions (because our artists deserve the world).
Finally, we are already looking for pieces for the January 2018 issue, yet to be named. Check out The Foundation for more information on how to submit, and feel free to shoot us an email if you have any questions. Share this site with yr friends and encourage the creative people that you know to share their brilliance with us.
So, please, donate, read some of this phenomenal work, submit, and support the arts on a global level.
